Vayne Solidor Revealed As First Dissidia Final Fantasy NT DLC Character

Vayne Solidor will be coming soon to the land of Dissidia NT on PS4. He made his first appearance as the villain of FFXII and has come armed with a Vanguard fighting style and an Ex Skill to buff the party. He is the first DLC character to be added for Season Pass holders.

Vayne Carudas Solidor, the main villain from FFXII, will be joining the fight in Final Fantasy Dissidia NT late next month. Vayne Solidor will be the first character for Season Pass holders with at least 5 more promised down the road. The main antagonist of FFXII utilizes what looks to be a Vanguard style from what we can see in the trailer.

With a variety of combo enders and moves that seem to carry a lot of knockbacks, Vayne promises to be a good character to keep a steady flow on the battlefield. Through intercepting and knocking out enemies, Vayne will be a formidable force in any fight to keep his enemies away from his allies. Plus there is the revealed EX skill, Writ of Conquest, that seems to be able to give buffs to his party.

What Vayne seems to lack in projectile attacks he more than makes up for with his combo enders and the fact his attacks can take away the need of rushing through. Something players of the game will know: if you can’t chase them, let them get close. Vayne seems to excel on this front.

With this reveal, what can we expect for future characters coming to Dissidia NT? Vayne Solidor himself can almost guarantee we will see Gabranth again at some point. He was in the first Dissidia, but for now, all that is left to do is wait and see what Square-Enix will offer us down the line.

Let’s not forget though that before Vayne, Dissidia NT will be releasing the new stage Orbonne Monastery later this month.

What do you guys think? Are you hoping for a particular character in the coming months? Personally, I’m hoping Auron makes an appearance, among a few others. Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Howdy everyone, in Mexico we have a phrase, "Old wood burns better". Old games tend to be good, but that should not stop people from looking at the future. I play games from the fighting genre to JRPGs and the never ending adventures of open world games. I am here to offer a point of view on the nostalgic past and the present games full of wonders.
