Star Ocean: The Last Hope Remaster Coming to PC and PS4

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is getting a remaster for the PC and PS4 coming November 28th, and it looks great running in full 4K.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is bringing its origins into the modern age with an HD remaster. Originally released in 2009 on Xbox 360 (PlayStation 3 followed later), the fourth installment of the Star Ocean series released with mostly positive reviews to the delight of Square Enix.

Now the developer is readying a “4K and Full HD Remaster” of this title for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Moving up from its original 720p resolution, the PS4 will have access to full 1080p while PC and PS4 Pro are able to output at 4K. Changing video settings is nothing new to PC, but some of these options will be available on the PS4 side this time around, such as motion blur and shadows.

Star Ocean is looking good, and its release is not so far in the future with a release date of November 28th! For those with curious eyes, you can see the trailer below.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope wasn’t the only Star Ocean game to visit current gen consoles this year. Star Ocean: Till the End of Time also made its debut on the PS4 this Spring. If you want to learn more, check out the article for full details.

Howdy everyone, in Mexico we have a phrase, "Old wood burns better". Old games tend to be good, but that should not stop people from looking at the future. I play games from the fighting genre to JRPGs and the never ending adventures of open world games. I am here to offer a point of view on the nostalgic past and the present games full of wonders.
