Spyro Is Back Like Crash Bandicoot In Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Like Crash N’Sane Trilogy before it, Spyro is getting his first three games remastered, but this time not exclusively for the, PlayStation 4. That’s right, Spyro Reignited Trilogy will launch on both the PS4 and Xbox One later this year!

In a move that likely surprises no one while at the same time making everyone giddy with nostalgia, Spyro is getting a Remastered Trilogy on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! You may have noticed this information from just the other day, but I’m a working man with a family and sadly don’t have all day to devote to writing about video games. So here it is for those who didn’t see it beforehand ;).

The important information is that we called this back in February, and the game will be launching as an entirely remastered fashion, on both consoles, and later this year! Getting proper 2018 HD visuals rather than crappy “HD Remasters”, and the first three games on one disc. Both systems are getting Pro and X enhanced versions, and it launches on September 21st for only $39.99!

As an added bonus, Activision decided to give players a throwback to the original Spyro unveil, and starting the other day, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy players in NA on PS4 can enter the iconic code (↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → square) into Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped title screen to watch the trailer.

The trilogy also includes improved environments, updated controls, brand-new lighting and recreated cinematics for added flavor in this one-of-a-kind adventure.

What’s even more awesome, Tom Kenny, the original voice actor in Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, has returned as the voice of Spyro in the trilogy. As always, for more information be sure to check out the official website, or just stay tuned here as anything Spyro becomes available.
