One Piece is the manga that keeps on giving… and giving, now, Unlimited World Red is coming to Nintendo Switch. And sooner than you might expect.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Deluxe Edition
Bandai Namco has announced the release of One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Deluxe Edition. Ahhhh yes, One Piece, the Japanese manga that has spawned more games and content then there are Straw Hat Pirates, has yet another trick to its Devil fruit. The 2013 game, which sold over 1 million copies worldwide is getting a remaster. They’re bringing the story of Monkey D. Luffy and gang to the current generation of consoles. Included in this update will be 1080p resolution, higher frame rate, and over 40 pieces of DLC.
Making the good things, even better
While checking out some of the reviews of the original game, you can see how it was well-regarded by critics and fans alike. This JRPG got a lot of things right before, but its highest acclaim came from how well the developers were able to capture the look and feel of the anime. With the updates being promised, one can only imagine what that they have done to make it even better.
It will be here sooner than you think
One Piece: Unlimited World Red, Deluxe Edition will be available digitally for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on August 25, 2017. The Nintendo switch version will be available in the Nintendo e-Shop on September 29, 2017. (For the Nintendo switch version, while in handheld mode, the screen resolution will be 720p.)
