PS4 Exclusive Nioh Coming To PC With New “Complete Edition”

Nioh gets a surprise announcement for PC in a new Complete Edition that includes the full game and all three DLC packs previously released in November.Article Header Here

Nioh is a sort of a niche game in the Dark Souls genre, although it is arguably one of the better ones. It has an average Metascore of 88 and quickly became Koei Tecmo’s most successful game ever in the west. It only makes sense they would want to expand on the audience and give more players the opportunity to play the game.

Queue the PC announcement.

No one was really expecting it to release outside of the PS4, but it’s still nice to know more people will get to experience this great game. The game will be available digitally on Steam as Nioh: Complete Edition. As its name suggests, it will have everything from the base game to all 3 additional DLC’s, Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor, and Bloodshed’s End. The games Director, Fumihiko Yausda had this to say about the announcement;

“Team NINJA is well aware of the fact that many gamers have been passionately asking for a PC version of “Nioh”. I am thrilled to announce that this masocore game will finally be available for our die-hard PC fans in Nioh: Complete Edition! I hope you all enjoy the unforgettable drama and deeply challenging Yokai battles this action-packed experience has to offer.”

As anyone playing on PC would expect, this port will include upgraded visuals and performance. Included in the PC version are two different visual modes similar to those seen on the PS4 Pro. Action Mode ensures the game will keep a solid 60fps, while Movie Mode will push the game to a 4K resolution. The PC requirements can be found below;
