Layers of Fear Legacy Coming to Nintendo Switch

Asper and Blooper Team are bringing their surprise hit 2016 survival horror game Layers of Fear Legacy to the Nintendo Switch.

Originally released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Linux back in February 2016, Layers of Fear Legacy is coming to Nintendo a little late to the party. The upside is, it will release with the DLC! (Hence the ‘Legacy’ part). The other upside? A new survival Horror game (and just another game for that matter) for the Switch!

Layers of Fear Legacy will include both the original release as well as the expansion, Layers of Fear: Inheritance. This isn’t just a simple port, however. Layers of Fear Legacy is being rebuilt to include HD Rumble, motion controls, and touchscreen control so that switch players can get the most out of their console.

In Layers of Fear Legacy, players will take control of a psychologically disturbed painter who is trying to complete his masterpiece. You will navigate the rooms and halls of a Victorian mansion discovering deep dark secrets about the painter.

The gameplay is in first person perspective and will include many puzzles and jump scares, all the while becoming more demented as you delve deeper into the story-driven plot. In the DLC included in this release, you play the painters daughter who has relapsed into trauma as she enters her old house.

Layers of Fear Legacy, will be available soon in the Nintendo eShop. For more information, visit the game’s official website.
