As the Jurassic Park quote goes, “Dinosaurs and man, two species separated by sixty-five million years of evolution, have just been suddenly thrown back into the mix together.”
And what a wonderful experience it may be.
Most titles you’ll see on the web will point out that Jurassic World Alive is copying Pokemon Go. Sure, it may have the same technology, but Pokemon Go has been out for a while. Jurassic World Alive has had the time to see what they can do better. Plus, Dinosaurs! Who doesn’t like dinosaurs?
Jurassic World and Universal are introducing “real-time player-versus-player arena battles.” This is something a lot of us have been missing from Pokemon Go. Plus, playing against our friends will be so much more fun with dinosaurs. It will also keep the fun exercise aspect that we love from Pokemon Go with the explore feature. And of course, we’ll be able to collect our favorite dinosaurs, then use them in the arena battles.
I’m not going to lie, Jurassic Park is one of those movies I can watch over and over. When I think of a game with my favorite dinosaurs, the child inside jumps in glee. I know Jurassic World will learn from the mistakes Pokemon Go has made and be even better.
Jurassic World Alive is set to launch just before the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in June 2018. If you just can’t wait to act on this, you can pre-register now and you’ll be rewarded with a free rare incubator when the game launches!
