Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice released on PS4 and PC late last year, and finally Xbox One players can see what all the deserved fuss was about with this gem of a game.
When Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice released last year on PS4 and PC, fans were excited to get into a new game that looked really fresh. Following Senua, a character haunted by demons in her head, otherwise known as psychosis. Coming from developer Ninja Theory as a self developed and published “indie” of sorts. It has no right to be called an indie, but it fits all the criteria to sit in the category. Although, the developers like to call it Independent AAA.
Senua is on a quest to save her beloved from Hela, the Goddess of death by traveling into Helheim. The game is absolutely gorgeous, and if played properly (with a quality headset on), it’s an experience unlike any other. If you have a weak resolve, you may not want to play this one alone. It’s worth every penny. Notably, Xbox One was left off the release table.
Well, Ninja Theory has decided to rectify that by bringing the award-winning game is finally coming to Xbox One in just a short 2 weeks!
Come April 11th, Xbox One players won’t only get to play the game, but they’ll be able to enjoy it fully enhanced for the Xbox One X! Hellblade fully supports HDR and players have the choice of 3 enhanced modes to select from: Enhanced Visuals mode which offers extra FX and visual quality throughout the experience, High Framerate mode that runs the game at 60fps, and High Resolution mode that runs the game with dynamic resolutions up to 4K.
Xbox players can pre-order Hellblade on the Xbox Store, and if you do so, or buy in the first week you’ll receive a 10% discount on the $29.99 price.
