Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Gets New Accolades Trailer

Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice received a new Accolades Trailer that’s something really different from usual game trailers focusing on Player Screenshots.

Ninja theory is billing this as “A very different kind of accolades trailer,” and boy they aren’t kidding! Take a look below;

Not only does it nix the usual critic praises, and is instead created entirely from fan screenshots captured within the games photo mode! Secondly, instead of highlighting the game’s features, this trailer highlights many of the touching messages received by Ninja Theory since the launch of the game in August. It’s something really different from what the game community is used to, and if you ask me, it’s beautiful.

Sadly, we were unaware of this being made or we’d have thrown in our own shots to be considered. Tim particularly loves photomodes, and has his own set from his playthrough. Here’s one example;

Within the gaming community, we are used to many things, but this is something altogether beautiful. It’s not often developers or publishers thank us in this kind of way, for this is a direct result of the community itself. As said before, and as the video says these are all fan screenshots, and their messages to Ninja Theory. Moments like this bring a warm reminder that great things often come in forms you are not expecting.

In addition, all proceeds received by Ninja Theory from the sale of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on World Mental Health Day (October 10th) were donated to mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness.

Howdy everyone, in Mexico we have a phrase, "Old wood burns better". Old games tend to be good, but that should not stop people from looking at the future. I play games from the fighting genre to JRPGs and the never ending adventures of open world games. I am here to offer a point of view on the nostalgic past and the present games full of wonders.
