Furi To Release On Nintendo Switch Late Next Week!

Furi has been anticipated on the Nintendo Switch for some time now, but now we finally have a date. And developer The Game Bakers have announced Furi will be releasing next week.

Furi was originally released back in 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC and earned high praises for its high-speed, hack-and-slash-and-shoot gameplay. It’s set within a world full of bosses you must attack with… well Furi if you want to survive. The player is tossed against a series of intimidating enemies, while on a mysterious quest for freedom.

Queue the Switch version, which was announced via the trailer below back in late November.

Keen eyed fans may notice that the character design is handled by Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, and was inspired by Japanese action games such as No More Heroes and Godhand.

This sort of title is the perfect kind of game to be featured on the Nintendo Switch, and fans can look forward to playing it on the 11th of January, just 7 days away. Not only that, but the game will only run you $19.99, which is the same price as on competing platforms, no Switch Tax to worry about.

If you’re interested in the game, check out the official website for more, and check out some additional screenshots below.
