Henry David Thoreau once said “The world is but a canvas to your imagination” and Concrete Genie takes that to a whole new level, look at what was shown during Paris Game Week!
Concrete Genie was recently shown at the Paris Game Week, and let me tell you, that is something pretty neat in itself. Sometimes games fly under the radar without any signs, especially in artistic games. Concrete Genie looks to be that and so much more.
Here’s everything we know about Concrete Genie. It’s a game about a bullied teenager named Ash, who escapes his troubles by painting spectacular living landscapes and mischievous creatures throughout his abandoned hometown of Denska. As Ash masters this magical paint, he discovers it can purify Denska’s polluted walls. Can Ash overcome the bullies and paint his hometown back to life?
The game looks like it may have some puzzle solving elements as well. In the trailer you can see the creatures Ash paints interact with with world around him. Soon, the bleak and abandoned walls of Denska, begin to feel more like a huge art gallery than a city. Can you paint the town back to life?
