Conan Exiles launched into Early Access on PC in January 2017, and in August for Xbox. Now, Funcom has released a new video to show the game is ramping up to exit early access and officially launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC May 8th.
Funcom is working overtime to get Conan Exiles ready for launch next month on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. They have been in Early Access for 14 months now, and the game has turned into something special. They have promised a lot, and delivered even more, although not everything has made it into the game. Luckily, just because it hasn’t made it in just yet doesn’t mean it isn’t still in the pipeline.
They have an entirely new combat system in the works and available on their TestLive servers, which will launch with the official game. They are adding quick travel, new items, rebalancing, new areas, dungeons, and much more. Not to mention everything else they’ve added since it originally launched.
Seeing a new area that more than doubled the size of the map, new materials, buildings, thralls, crafting stations, weapons, armor and so much more. The game has drastically changed since launch, and has been worth your time for months now. If you haven’t played it, take a look at Tim’s review to get an idea of how good it was 7 months ago, let alone today.
The developers regularly stream the game to talk with fans, give detailed information on the continued development process on their official blog, and even interact directly on Twitter and Reddit. It’s no hidden process, and fans have helped shape the game from the beginning.
If you’re interested in the game, snag it for PC while you can on Steam or Xbox One while it’s cheaper, PS4 fans don’t have a choice sadly. Either way, Conan Exiles officially launches May 8th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the video above to get an idea of what to expect.
