Call of Duty: WW2’s latest DLC, The War Machine is ready to launch quite soon, and Activision has released a new trailer that shows all the lovely additions to the online portion of the game.
The worlds favorite online shooter is getting ready to launch it’s second DLC pack, titled The War Machine. With it comes the above trailer, and all the extras are detailed within it. 3 new maps, a new War Mode, and the next chapter of Nazi Zombies, which looks as brutal and ridiculous as ever.
This is the second of the DLC’s included for those who have the Season Pass, otherwise, it will run you $14.99.
The new maps you can look forward to are; the iconic World War II battle of Dunkirk, a secret German V-2 rocket facility, and an interesting choice of levels, Egypt. Each looks unique and will likely challenge players to put their skills to the test in new ways.
As for the new War Mode, interestingly enough, it was co-developed by Raven Software and is called Operation Husky. The biggest thing to note about the new War Mode is that it includes a new gameplay mechanic – aerial dogfighting! This is a first for the Call of Duty franchise, and should bring an entirely dynamic to the game.
Last but not least, we have the new Nazi Zombies chapter to look forward to. The blurb from the developers can be found below.
The Shadowed Throne brings players into the heart of Nazi Germany to confront a desperate and evil regime. Berlin is burning, and Doktor Straub’s monstrous army is hellbent on purging his city of the Allied invaders. Join Marie, Drostan, Olivia, and Jefferson on their descent into madness in a city warped with terror, blood, and war, as Nazi Zombies steps out from the shadows of history.
Call of Duty: WW2 DLC pack number 2, The War Machine, will release on PS4 first April the 10th, followed by the PC and Xbox One at a later date.
